How to play

You’ve found your way to Fortune Questions ––– good on you for letting curiosity and a dash of chaos in!

This is but a loose set of guidelines and tidbits for the adventure ahead. Needn’t study too thoroughly, as the magic of this cosmic experience lives in the conversations and connections inbetwixt each cookie.

 

Standard play

  • 1) Select one.

    Anyone can go, volunteers welcome~ Pick a fortune question from the box. Skim the top or dig deep, but most importantly, follow your heart…

  • 2) Reveal one.

    Unwrap and open the cookie. Read the question aloud and give yourself a moment to take it in. No rush, this isn’t a race.

  • 3) Answer one!

    Reflect and respond with your gut. There are no right or wrong answers. Leave room for others to chime in. The respondent chooses who’s next.
 

  • Solo play ⛳️

    Every fortune question can be pondered and answered individually as much as in a group. Treat yourself to the crunch and spark of deeper self-reflection and understanding.

  • Couples play 🪇

    Each question is a “guess my answer” opportunity. Instead of giving your answer first, ask your fellow player/partner to predict what and how you’ll answer the question.

  • Advanced play 🧮

    Pen and paper required. “Player” reveals a question. Everyone jots down an answer on paper. “Player” becomes “guesser” of who wrote which answer. Correctly connect the most answer to players to win!
